Privacy policy
Effective October 17, 2026
JetOps is the private order-management system of Jet Aeroparts, LLC ("we", "us"). It is used by our own staff to run our aircraft parts sourcing and brokerage business. The only public parts are our account setup pages, where customers and prospective customers enter their own account details through a secure link or our open-an-account page. This policy explains what information JetOps handles and how we protect it.
Information we handle
Business contacts: names, business email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses of our customers, suppliers and repair vendors, and the details of the requests, quotes, orders, shipments and payments we exchange with them.
Account setup: what a customer enters on an account setup page (company details, the people on their account, aircraft registrations and serial numbers, maintenance vendors, freight account numbers, paperwork requirements and any documents they upload), with the submitter's name, title, email, IP address and time. Nothing entered there is used until one of our staff reviews it. Sourcing agreements are signed through DocuSign, which keeps its own signing record under its privacy policy.
Accounting data: when we connect our own QuickBooks Online company, JetOps posts journal entries for our orders and reads our own transactions (for example, deposits and expenses on our bank account) to match payments to orders and report our expenses. We connect only our own QuickBooks company.
Staff accounts: names, email addresses, roles and sign-in records of our employees who use JetOps.
How we use it
Only to quote, fulfil and account for orders, keep our books, communicate with the companies we do business with, and meet our legal, tax and export-compliance obligations (including screening parties against U.S. government restricted-party lists).
Sharing
We do not sell or rent information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run JetOps for us (hosting, database, email, payment processing, shipment tracking and accounting providers, including Intuit QuickBooks), each only as needed to provide its service, or when the law requires it.
Security and storage
JetOps is hosted in the United States. Access requires a password and an authenticator-app code, data is encrypted in transit, and API keys and connection tokens are stored encrypted. Access is limited by staff role.
Retention
Parts traceability, airworthiness and order records (quotes, purchase orders, certificates, shipping records, invoices and the emails filed with them) are kept for at least 10 years, as aviation customers, auditors and regulators expect. Other business and accounting records are kept as long as needed for the business and for legal and tax record-keeping, then deleted. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops all access to it immediately; records already in JetOps are kept as part of our books.
Your choices
A customer, supplier or vendor contact may ask us to see, correct or delete their contact information, subject to records we must keep by law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do. Questions: Jet Aeroparts, LLC, 7901 4th St N Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. Email: ops@jetaeroparts.com.
